on repetition

The exhibition entitled WAVING TREES is a physical recording and interpretation of an ongoing succession of choices, dialogues, exchanges, interactions, and transmutations happening in an experiential continuum, which can include but is not restricted to narratives supported and justified by means of the five senses. More a procedure than an outcome, it presents symbolic snapshots of a system, in which all developments occur on the nurturing basis of a shared will and in which no part can be sacrificed or excluded to the benefit of any other part(s). Further to / in line with theoretical work presented by the artists, Dimitra Viveli and Enrico Benco, in 2017 (Exchange vs. Repetition: a call for balance through economy and art), WAVING TREES is a multilevel landscape that is being composed by means-whereby – not goals, final products, or predetermined results. As such, it can be seen as the exemplification of a life model (trees), that is fuelled, travelled and shaped by a synchronised breathing rhythm (wave forms) that is fully interactive/dynamic and releases all predefined paths, ideas, feelings, structures, and life arrangements to embrace meaningful organisation and uniqueness of experience.
