EVENTS > UPCOMING oito @ Madrid and Lisbon On Art can be perceived, defined, experienced, or shared in various ways and through different lenses. In the context of self-organisation and meaning-making, art is a canvas for consciousness to be reflected upon so that the self can be exlored, discovered, analysed, hopefully understood. As a mechanism or vehicle of symbolic representation, it helps us reduce our inner complexity and create a safer zone that can be surfed and transcended without the cataclysmic effects of contending with chaos. By extension, seen in and interacting with different cultural landscapes or densities, the artwork (and, therefore, the deciphering of consciousness) assumes various meaning colourings, travels nuances, and faces new challenges that largely enhance its meaning value. In this light, oito will be taking three artworks from the exhibition ETERNAL MOMENT to Madrid and Lisbon, in quest of the special tints that can only be found and inhaled there. Madrid Lisbon
