The collection HYDROGEN AND CARBON draws on the world of chemical elements to shed light on how the same energy wave, and therefore, system of meaning, can manifest through different life expressions across densities. Accommodating the need to respond to different stimuli in equally meaningful manners and experience reality in various ways, the system adapts its form and function, stretching and contracting as required and desired, maximising its choices and potential to the level of absolute completeness.

At the heart of the HYDROGEN AND CARBON exhibition beats the two-fold "the body", establishing the perception, understanding, and recognition of the body as a symbolic system and as a fully meaningful expression of the self with personal, as well as social, role and function. Run by the same principles as all other systems of meaning, the body displays processes of responding to the triggers of the environment, managing information, handling complexity, communicating preference and disfavour, and setting boundaries. Similarly, it has needs that far transcend the physical realm and can only find life and prosperity in truth, purity, uniqueness, and complementarity. Far from being a purely material entity with machine functioning, the body is home to our personal and social identity and an active agent in the formation and shaping of the reality we experience.
